Key Features at a glance…A welcome addition the Planet Power Canteen Office 8 offers a rest area for 8 people with an adjoining office for one, there is also a bench seat in the office where a one to one meeting can be conducted.
This HSE compliant welfare unit exceeds the transient site welfare criteria for staff on site and is V.C.A. approved as a trailer.
It is compact, lightweight, and easy for us to tow with no special transport required. It’s well thought out anti-vandal design incorporates high-security features such as recessed door handles and steel shuttered windows. It’s bright, easy wipe clean GRP interior can accommodate 8-9 people in the rest area and has an annexed 1 x person office with desk and computer power socket facing a window.

Rest area comprising of:
Bench seating for 8-9 people around a fixed table with some of the under-seat area offering storage for bulkier PPE items
- Generator powered microwave, kettle and wall heaters, (as with all of our units, the generator has auto shut down if left running)
- Auxiliary battery powered heating reinforcing the Planet Power eco credentials
- The sink in the rest area has NO hand washing dispensers above (this encourages hand washing in the toilet cubicle to the rear- an area which is away from any food and also the area which we clean each week)
- Solar charged batteries providing power to interior lights, heating
- Sliding window c/w internal locking security shutters
- Solar powered phone charging point

One person office
The Planet Power Welfare Office has a slide opening window for looking out to the site, with internal locking security shutters over a fixed worktop style desk. Above the desk is a solar powered laptop charging point with a NO SPIKE DC connection (adaptor supplied by us) and a timed inverter powered 3 pin socket to enable operators to run a printer for short periods (all power enabled without the engine running)
In addition is a generator powered socket to be used for running a printer if required,
N.B. It is not a good practice to run computers off generator power and we do not recommend it in the case of electrical spikes.
On the opposite wall to the worktop, behind the manager’s chair is a bench seat for 2 x people for smaller meetings

- Wall mounted paper towel dispenser which is well stocked with soluble paper towels, a design which dissolves to pulp in water once disposed of into the toilet bowl. This is our preferred option rather than using non-soluble green towels which block drains and are difficult for water companies to dispose of. They are also a much better option than an overflowing waste bin.
